Lovely silver compass watch fob pendant with rope twist and geometric ball accents characteristic of the late Victorian period. This type of miniature and working compasses were a decorative and practical addition to a Gentleman's watch chain.

A beautiful and unique fob to hang from your favourite chain.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

This watch fob does not have any obvious hallmarks but it tests for silver. It is in overall great antique condition with some surface scratches to the glass.

The compass measures 3cm x 3cm and weighs 10g.
