Antique Sterling Silver Watch Chain Necklace

Beautiful heavy graduated antique watch chain necklace with an antique albert clasp and a T Bar drop. 

I have added an antique silver threepence from 1904 and a short length of silver chain from the same era to give a bit more length to the chain. The coin can be easily removed and your own pendant or fob added or it can be worn alone with just the T bar.

The T Bar is is hallmarked with the letter Z for 1899 and makers mark JS* for Joseph Sewell of South Castle St, Liverpool and each of the graduated silver links is stamped with the lion passant. One of the rings is also hallmarked with the letter Z and the largest chain link has the makers mark JS*. The albert clasp has the makers mark SS for Samuel Smith of London.

The total length of the necklace is 44cm and it weighs 56g. 

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This watch chain necklace is in great antique condition.
