Beautiful sterling silver watch fob. It has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1933 and the makers mark R.P for Robert Pringle & Sons of Clerkenwell Rd, London EC1. It features a lovely wreath design with an empty cartouche on the front and a blank back perfect for your own engraving.

This watch fob would be a great addition to a watch chain or pearl necklace to create a unique and special necklace.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

 The watch fob is 3cm in diameter excluding the original ring. It has a total drop of 4cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This watch fob is in excellent vintage condition
