Vintage Watch Fob Multiway Peacock Pearl Necklace

This stunning peacock pearl necklace features a vintage sterling silver shield watch fob with a sterling silver round spring clasp. The watch fob is hallmarked silver and has the makers mark D & D.

The watch fob has a blank cartouche on the front and engraving on the back (please see photos). The pearls are beautiful and are in blue, green and purple tones.

The clasp easily opens so that you can add your own favourite charms or pendants making it a truly versatile and beautiful piece of jewellery. 

The necklace can be worn with the clasp at the back for a luxe, classic look or the clasp and pendant can be worn at the front for a totally different look to compliment different necklines.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

The pearl necklace and clasp measures 49cm. The watch fob is 3.5cm in diameter. The pearls are 10/11mm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This watch fob is in great vintage condition.
