Beautiful sterling silver watch fob with a blank rose gold cartouche on the front and engraving on the back (please see photos).

The watch fob is hallmarked Birmingham 1932 and has the makers mark J.F for James Fenton & Co of Great Hampton St, Birmingham. 

It would be a great addition to a watch chain or pearl necklace to create a unique and special necklace.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

 The watch fob is 4cm x 2.5cm including the original bale and ring.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This watch fob is in excellent vintage condition
