Beautiful sterling silver watch fob with a blank rose gold cartouche on the front and a blank back. It is extremely unusual to find these watch fobs with no engravings at all.

It has lovely flower engraving details which I have not seen before. It is stamped sterling silver and is in excellent vintage condition.

It would be a great addition to a watch chain or pearl necklace to create a unique and special necklace.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

 The watch fob is 4cm x 2.5cm including the original ring.
