Vintage sterling silver 10 shilling emergency money charm. 

The example has a slight qwirk in that the 1 shilling note appears to be upside down. These vintage novelty charms were individually assembled—and sometimes even opened and re-folded by their past owners— so it is fairly common to find the miniature paper currency slipped back into the casing backwards or upside down.

It has a sterling silver ring so that it is ready to add to your charm bracelet or your favourite chain.
