Beautiful rare vintage continental silver and enamel pendant with hand painted Italian landscape scene. On one side is the delicately painted scene of Rapallo on the Italian Riviera and on the other the decorative words Ricordo di Rapallo (memory of Rapallo). I have put it on a modern gold fill chain.

This a gorgeous and unusual piece of jewellery would have been bought as a travel souvenir in the early to mid 20th century. The colours are very vibrant and the silver frame has a lovely soft gold wash.

The pendant measures 2.3cm and the chain measures 46cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This stunning pendant is in excellent vintage condition.
