Edwardian super cute sterling silver double owl brooch. 

After some research I believe that these lovely owls were originally featured on Edwardian menu markers made by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham (please see last photos) and repurposed as a brooch in later years. The brooch pin has been soldered on and there appears to be marks on the back where the bars from the menu holder have been removed. A gorgeous piece of history.

The owls have beautiful detailing and would look lovely on a jacket or shirt.

The brooch measures 2.5cm x 2cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This gorgeous brooch is in great antique condition.
