Gorgeous antique sterling silver and citrine spinning fob with lovely star decoration. The fob has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1891 with the makers mark F.W.T. Ld  for F.W Turton Ltd of Frederick St Works, Birmingham.

A beautiful piece of antique silver.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Some fobs swiveled within a moveable bracket to allow the wearer a choice as to which face was displayed prominently.

The fob measures 3.5cm x 2.5cm including the ring.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to it's history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This fob is in great antique condition.
