This stunning necklace features a sterling silver shield watch fob with freshwater pearls, crystals and gemstones and a sterling silver swivel clasp. The watch fob is hallmarked Birmingham 1927 and has the makers mark T.F for Thomas Fall of Hoopley St, Birmingham. It has a raised rose gold cartouche on both sides and lovely floral engraving. One side is blank and the other has inscriptions (please see photos for all the details. It was awarded to a G. Innes of Hove Police. A fabulous piece of history!

This necklace can be worn in a number of ways. You can add your own pendants or charms to the albert swivel clasp or you can wear it as a traditional necklace with the clasp at the back.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

The necklace (without the fob) measures 50cm. The watch fob measures 4cm x 3cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This watch fob is in great vintage condition.
