1915 Sterling Silver Cheroot Holder Necklace

Brand Vonk Jewellery

This beautiful and unusual necklace features a 1915 sterling silver engraved cheroot  case on a modern Italian sterling silver curb chain. The cartouche on the case is blank and it is hallmarked London 1915 with the makers mark H.P & S for Henry Perkins & Sons of Tottenham Court Road, London. The original cheroot holder, possibly made from horn, is still inside the case. It is very rare to find these intact.

 It is in great antique condition, the hallmarks are clear and the lid to the case closes firmly. A gorgeous and unique necklace.

The cheroot case measures 5.5cm and the chain measures 70cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This cheroot case is in great antique condition.
