Antique 1912 Sterling Silver Watch Fob

Brand Vonk Jewellery

Stunning and unusual sterling silver and red enamel watch fob. It has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1912 with the makers mark G.U for George Unite of Caroline St, Birmingham. The watch fob was awarded by the Leicestershire Football Association and features the coat of arms of the Beaumont family, Earls of Leicester.

A beautiful and unique fob to hang from your favourite chain.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

The watch fob is 3.5cm x 2.5cm. 

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This watch fob is in excellent antique condition
