Vintage Carved Bone Celluloid Pansy Brooch

Pretty carved bone or celluloid pansy brooch with a c clasp.

These kind of hand carved flower brooches were gifts and souvenirs taken home from Austria, Switzerland and The Black Forest where they were made.  They were popular with tourists and generally date from around the 1930s.

An unusual and pretty treasure.

The brooch measures 2.5cm. 

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This brooch is in excellent vintage condition.
