Cute antique continental silver bird and agate lucky shamrock brooch on safety pin type closure. A lovely little pin which would look great on a jacket or used as a feature clasp on a chain.

Brooches were extremely popular in Victorian/Edwardian times and were often placed on ribbon around the wearer's neck to create a colliers de chien or ‘dog collar’. Brooches are now having a comeback and are a great way to add some individual style to your outfit.

The pin measures 4cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This gorgeous brooch is in great antique condition.
