Amazing silver charm bracelet with 12 silver British threepences and one Canadian 10 cent piece. The British silver threepences are from 1916 to 1937 with one early Victorian coin featuring a young Queen Victoria. The Canadian coin is dated 1953. The bracelet measures 17cm with a 3cm extension.

This bracelet is a very special and unique bracelet.

The British threepence was known as a threepence or threepenny bit and was first used in England during the reign of Edward VI (1547-53). All threepences minted from 1816 to 1919 were made of sterling silver and those produced between 1920 and 1946 were half silver, half nickel. These coins were often made into bracelets by soldiers serving in WWII to send home to their sweethearts. 

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This bracelet is in excellent vintage condition.
