Vintage 1957 Triple Sterling Silver Fob Necklace

This beautiful necklace features 3 identical watch fobs on a sterling silver chain. The fobs are blank on the front and back and are hallmarked for Birmingham 1957 with the makers mark R.P for Robert Pringle & Sons of Clerkenwell Road, london, EC1. It is very unusual to find unused and identical watch fobs in such good condition.

On this gorgeous large link chain they create a stunning and unique necklace perfect for layering with other pieces.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

The fob measures 3cm x 2cm and the chain measures 45cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. These fobs are in excellent vintage condition.
