Originally designed to hang from a gentleman's watch chain, this pocket-sized piece can be worn today as a unique charm or pendant on your favourite chain.

The fob seal tests as silver with a hand-engraved chevron barrel and decorative foliate scrolling around the collar. There are no hallmarks but this was common for small silver objects like this. The base features a smooth, uncarved agate traditionally left blank so the owner could customise it with their own initials or crest.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch.
