Sterling silver c1940s Faith Hope and Charity charm on an Italian sterling silver box chain. The charms are individually hand engraved with the words faith, hope and charity.

These three symbols are believed to capture the essence of life. The cross for faith, anchor for hope and the heart for love or charity and were not surprisingly very popular during the Victorian period when symbolic jewellery was at its height.

This necklace is a great layering piece or can be worn alone as a great addition to your Spring/Summer style.

The charm measures 2cm and the chain measures 45cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This charm is in excellent vintage condition.
