This product is sold out

This stunning pearl necklace features a sterling silver and shield watch fob, large keshi pearl drop and pink opal charm with a sterling silver oval spring clasp. The watch fob is hallmarked Birmingham 1911 and has the makers mark W.H.H. for William Hair Haseler of Vyse St, Birmingham. The front cartouche and back are unusually blank.

The clasp easily opens so that you can add your own favourite charms or pendants, or use the whole clasp and pendants on another chain of your own. A truly versatile and beautiful piece of jewellery. (Please see images)

The necklace can be worn with the clasp at the back for a luxe, classic look or the clasp and pendant can be worn at the front for a totally different look to compliment different necklines.

A fob is an adornment or a seal that hung from the ribbon or chain of a Gentleman's pocket watch. Its purpose was to decorate or add weight to the watch chain. Watch fob pendants were often given as prizes or to commemorate a special occasion or event.

The pearl necklace measures 48cm. The watch fob measures 3.5cm x 2.5cm (including the bail) and the keshi pearl measures 2cm x 1.3cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This watch fob is in great antique condition.
