This beautiful and unusual necklace features a 1905 sterling silver engraved cheroot holder and case on a modern Italian sterling silver curb chain. The cartouche on the case is blank and it is hallmarked Birmingham 1905 with the makers mark F.W for Francis Webb of Pencil Case Works, Great Hampton St, Birmingham.

This is a beautiful engraved antique silver item and was the very last thing that I found on my trip to the UK. It is in great antique condition with a slight dent on one side. The hallmarks are clear and the lid to the case closes firmly. A gorgeous and unique necklace.

The cheroot case measures 5.5cm (including the bail), the chain measures 70cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This cheroot case is in great antique condition.
